This is the story of the panic that swept Orléans, of girls terrified of white slavers and the relationship of the fantasies that arose to that 'shrine of narcissistic sexuality' - i.e. the dressing-room. Seems to be a rather odd idea to bother with but 'whatever
turns you on' is what I always say. Note, however, that
there is a later and larger book out (different publisher,
same photographer) which I am told has about 150 examples.
The one I am offering, the original edition, has 112. Most
are in colour. This copy is priced to reflect the fact you
get fewer of these wonderful (?) objet d'art to
contemplate. Some light edge wear but fairly good.
